Welcome to my website, aka Maria’s Greenhouse. I write to provide water and nourishment for the budding story teller, leader, author, and book in you. As the president and founder of Vineworks Publishers, Inc. and Managing Editor for Stories from the Vine, I’m actively looking for powerful stories and exceptional writers who believe their mission in life is to inspire others and help transform lives through the power of Jesus Christ.

Speaking

I speak to national and international audiences on a wide range of topics, including the role of Instructional Technology and New Media on education; the art of teaching; writing and publishing; and leadership and life transformation.  A section with details on my speaking topics is coming soon.

Consulting

As an educational, writing, and communications consultant, I work with a selective group of clients. More information coming soon.

Family & Ministry

I have been married to Sam Keckler for 23 years. Our imperfections, mistakes, and early marriage struggles have provided opportunities to give others hope.  We regularly mentor marriages in crisis.  We are the proud parents of Sarah, a college sophomore.
