LEARN MORE TO EARN MORE: 4 INFOGRAPHICS TO ELEVATE YOUR GAME

“Learn more to earn more,” has been the intrinsic theme of several mastermind conversations I’ve had this month. I believe it’s a true statement.

Consider the following: A single insight, idea, or piece of feedback can elevate our game to new heights. Who doesn’t need to elevate his or her game a bit more? And who couldn’t benefit from earning more: More money. More trust. More credibility.

Learning more used to be a lengthy and laborious process. Today, learning is easy. It can take place anywhere, any time, and in easily digestible chunks. That’s why people love creating and consuming infographics.

Now, if you believe that learning more will help you earn more, imagine where your career and influence will be a year from now just by learning and implementing ONE thing that can elevate your game.

In my experience, those who constantly improve their communication skills are people who consistently stand out from the competition—inside or outside organizations. They are phenomenal presenters, standout leaders, and superb bridge builders.

Here are four infographics to help elevate your game by elevating your communication skills.

1. LEADING BETTER MEETINGS PAYS OFF

Courtesy of CT Travel, “9 Ways to Make Sure You Have Effective Meetings,” proves that effective communication is foundational to effective meetings.

2. BUILDING MENTAL TOUGHNESS PAYS OFF EVEN MORE

Courtesy of Vegas Extreme Skydiving, “8 Ways to Conquer Self-Doubt,” proves that mental toughness is the byproduct of mastering your mindset, which is the sum of what you think and what you believe. In other words, when your internal communication is in check, you are ready to conquer anything.

3. STANDING OUT IS ABOUT “SHOWING AND TELLING”

Courtesy of Interview Success Formula, “Job Interviewing 101,” proves that to succeed in any situation, whether applying for a new job or looking to land the next promotion, effective communication is the ultimate competitive advantage. Both verbal and nonverbal communication. Both in person and remove communication.

Bottom line: Both “Show and Tell.” Namely, let your words and actions convey that it would be a big mistake to let you get away.

4. SPEAK SUPERBLY AND CONNECT WITH YOUR AUDIENCE

Courtesy of Yours Truly, “Superbly Speaking” proves that being a Superb Communicator is more a matter of intention than perfection. It begins with keeping one’s audience in mind, then choosing to communicate in a way that resonates with them.
